The shape of a desert, a mountain chain. The vastness of a shimmering ocean, the attracting ballet of the clouds. Rising in the air to admire it. Its beauty is matched only by its flimsiness. The Earth protects human beings, feeds them, delights them, fulfills them. What does it get in return?
